A platform homepage loading does not mean the target title will play. Some platforms apply different regional checks to the homepage, search, details page and playback API. “Native IP” usually means the IP’s registration region, announced region and platform-detected region broadly match. The term describes regional consistency, not a residential connection. For streaming, when an IP database places the exit in the target content region, the platform is more likely to return the corresponding catalog. However, platforms use different data sources, so one may identify the region correctly while another reaches a different conclusion.

“Residential IP” refers to a connection type that resembles ordinary home broadband rather than a data-center exit. Why Dolby Vision Has Tighter Requirements Than Standard HD

Dolby Vision depends on more than the network.
